What a cozy place to be in this holiday season

perfect for having only the closest family and friends.

I just love how intimate every room and space looks

and oh so warm and filled with the easy living ambiance

that we so crave as we take a break this holiday.

A Renovated 1850s Mansion

Something in this big house that looks and feels so warm.

It must be the exposed wooden beams or the lovely flooring

or even the old walls and the lovely and interesting looking doors.  

This home was built in the 1850s and was even 

deserted for 30 years.  But after the much needed renovation

it looks so charming and inviting.

I just love the bedroom and outdoor

spaces of this lovely big house.

A Lovely Home of White and Light Colors

This home is just my style.

Love the facing pink couches and the floral armchair 

in this very serene looking but very comfy living room.

And I love the Laura Ashley floral wallpaper that contrasts

every other white walls in this home and that white brick

bathtub looks lovely to me too.

This home may not be big but every room is a 

beautiful haven.

A Serene and Colorful Villa

I'm back from my much needed rest,

my body craved for it a long time ago

but I did not listen until I can't function well anymore

and needed to heed the Doc's advise.  Don't emulate me,

listen to the whispers of your heart

and don't give a deaf ear to the whispers of your body too.

This villa looks really relaxing with

its outdoor greenery.  I love the pops of colors and the simple

furniture.  If I live here, I think I would be seen frequently in that

quiet porch.  And that pink bathroom may be small

but looks lovely to me.

Jonathan Adler and Simon Doonan's Lovely Island Retreat

So much to love about this 

island retreat but what I love the most

is the lovely mixture of textures and colors.

Just look at those fabrics and walls,

so amazing!

And the design accents and

furniture are all looking wonderful.
