I don't usually favor box type homes because most of them are too modern for my taste and some have interiors that are quite masculine for my taste. I love homes that are inviting, fresh, serene, and cozy. And if it is located in a very nice surrounding, somewhere with a great view and spacious relaxing outdoors then it is my dream house. This lovely home in Spain has all the qualities I dream of in an ideal home and surprisingly it is a box type house. It is a dream house in a box. It is a haven where one can relax and its outdoor spaces are very pleasing to the eyes. You can almost feel the soft winds on your face.
What factors and features would you like your dream home to have? Would it be box type, Mediterranean, high rise or Victorian?

I love the rooftop of this place, the moroccan pieces are my favourite..I'd love a Victorian or Edwardian property. I love old stuff, so modern doesn't do it for me, but I do like modern places that have mixed the old with the new, then its ok :) Hope you've had a great weekend!! xx

I too was surprised. This is actually nice. I also think most box houses are very modern...
Guess that means the house inside, doesn't always have to be dictated by the shape outside....

This home is modern with clean lines - yet it doesn't feel cold or sterile. I just toured the most amazing Victorian homes and fell in love but I also have a sore spot for Mediterranean homes - here in LA there are so many amazing ones built in the 20's... I've always said I need to have at least 4 homes b/c it's just so difficult to choose!!

This is a beautiful, crisp home with an eclectic mix in its box framed exterior. For me, it is more about the interior materials, the mouldings, ceiling height, window shape and placement. (Oh, and do not forget large modern kitchen, an abundance of closets and storage, and lighting)

The perfect hause, the dream home? I could write and write... recently I saw amazing lofts here in Oslo, red brick and tall french windows overlooking the river, with small gardens perfect for summer parties :) I think the location is crucial, the interiors can always be redecorated.
