Home Spaces made more beautiful by Flowers

Flowers make a room look more vibrant, fresh, and homey. It does not really matter in what part of your house you want to put some flowers, these days you can put them practically anywhere… in your entryway, living room, dining room, kitchen, and even in your bathrooms. Flowers inside your home need not be too many, big, or placed in the center of the room to create an impact, flowers just never fails to brighten up a space. Flowers are sure to make any part of your house more vibrant, fresh and homey and if your flowers have fragrance then you get to enjoy its lovely smell too.

These rooms may be aesthetically fabulous already but they are made more beautiful by the addition of lovely flowers in them.

That's of course the best..., like Holly, if you can bring in some flowers from your own garden.

LOVE flowers...they add such life and color!

Question, though...WHAT is on the chandy in the coastal living house? Looks like old fish (know it's not, but just sayin'.)

Linda,
believe it or not...those are oyster shells tied to a simple metal frame.

Thanks for the comment Ann! You have a beautiful blog...very inspiring!

That oyster shell chandelier looked like fish to me too! But oysters definitely make more sense. Very neat.

Hi! thanks for visiting my blog. I love the anyon design dining pic. I just bought a tall dining set and I was a little nervous about it, but change is good I think. I also love that blue room "florida design" along with the coastal living pic. So much beauty to look at in just one post wow!

Hi there Ann. Wow you have quite the eye for decorating. I love what I see but I am "all thumbs" when it comes to doing decorating myself.
Like Linda, I too wondered about what was hanging from the ceiling. I had just given a long look to the western design so the first thing that came to my mind for some silly reason was animal skins. Horrid I know. I think the strangest things sometimes. Decorating with oyster shells....that is quite beautiful.

Do I have flowers around my house? Well, I have some dried hydrangea, 2 violet plants, and 1 green plant (don't know the name of it). I would love to love to have fresh flowers around some day. They sure do bring a fresh glow to the atmosphere of the home.

Blessings to you today.

Hi Ann, I agree. I love flowers and try to have them all over my home. I am still waiting on my garden to produce a few free bunches; maybe when it warms up a bit more.

I couldn't agree more! I love coming home to the wonderful fragrance the flowers provide.

Oh yes always. I wish I could keep them alive so I wouldn't have to have stupid fake ones. :)

Flowers are absolutely key to a whimsical and peaceful looking place - that is, until they die =S I wish I could keep them alive forever!
