Down with White and Neutrals in your Bedroom

While we are still in the early part of the year, a little change in the interior of your bedroom might add spice and liven up your moods or better yet your life. If you have been sleeping in a bedroom with white or neutral wall paints for years, maybe this is the time to change the look and interior design of your bedroom. Or if you are using a colorful bedroom for quite a time now, maybe you should shift to neutrals or whites. But today I will feature bedrooms with color, to give you ideas and to inspire you to be daring enough to try using colors in your bedroom walls. Change is a beautiful thing to embrace especially if it perks up your mood and bring optimism and calmness in your surroundings. One of the most economical and easiest ways to change the look of your bedroom is to change your wall color. In choosing the right colors for your bedroom walls, one of the most important things to consider is what colors make you feel peaceful, serene, tranquil and relaxed. After all, this is the place where you get your sleep and rest. Be forewarned though that shifting to the more colorful walls for your bedroom might make some of the curtains you use with neutrals stay in the closet for a while especially those colorful curtains with prints that will not match the new color scheme of your bedroom.

So, if you are contemplating of using bright pink, fire red, chocolate brown, or other colors in your bedroom but are afraid of what the result might be because you rarely see it being used by your conventional friends, family or neighbors, here are a few design ideas for you, go and try it out. Go for it, down with whites and neutrals in your bedroom. Dare to go and have a change of ambiance and setting for your bedroom.
