Warm and Cozy Interiors and a Charming Deck

This house is a stone building from 1860, and once renovated was transformed into a wonderful home with warm and cozy interiors and a charming wooden deck. The interiors of this house is quite interesting with a bit of playfulness with lovely stickers here and there and even on the refrigerator, but not the tacky kind, the stickers are well placed and in fact eye-catchers and in a very good way. I love the orange wall on the kitchen and the two bedrooms are inviting with adorable kittens who willingly pose for some adorable shots. I love the eclectic design of the dining room with its stone walls and terracotta floors and at the center an oak table coupled with modern 'Victoria Ghost' chairs by Philippe Starck and at one side boasts of a lovely antique sideboard and mirror. Oh I love the club chair and side table by the window too with the fresh flowers and colored bottles that adds pleasantness to an already lovely space. And my fave spot is the wooden deck, it is an inviting space to relax, designed beautifully with its teak lounge, lights, lanterns, and blooms. This deck also showcases the stone walls and the wonderful structure of the house which I think is really charming, as if having a backdrop of history and a glance of warm and cozy interiors of the house.

Thanks to all the lovely comments regarding my son's play... it went well and I am one proud Mom. There will be more shows but I guess I won't be as nervous and excited as the first one. Again, thanks everyone, my family appreciates your lovely comments.

A Place of Rustic Comfort

My weekend will be a very busy one but I look forward to it and in fact so excited. My ten-year old son is included in a theater play and this Saturday will be their opening. After weeks of rigorous rehearsals and hours of traveling just to attend said rehearsals, finally... I will get to watch him on stage. Three shows per day, and I know he will be exhausted but he assures me that he loves what he is doing and as a mother I love watching him be able to do what he loves and see him improve on his craft... Oh how sweet it would be to whisk him away to some relaxing place after his shows just like the beautiful house below, but sadly he has school to attend to after his plays.

This house located in Northern Spain and was designed by Joaquin Diaz is a perfect getaway place, a place of rustic comfort filled with gorgeous Andy Warhol artworks, comfy furniture, and spectacular calming views. I love the mix of fabrics in this house, colorful with varied textures and lovely patterns. And the living room is so cozy, I just love the idea of having a spacious yet cozy living with a large window that frames a wonderful view. Love this house so much ♥

A Gorgeously Laid Back Abode

This house is one of those gorgeously laid back abodes you feel right at home to and one of those house you wish was yours... it has perfect outdoor spaces complete with little nooks here and there for intimate conversations and relaxing contemplation or even for just some quiet time alone to sip some coffee or read a book. And hey, its interiors are not shabby either, the interiors are as charming and as gorgeous as its outdoors, full of white walls which of course by now you know is just my thing. This house also keeps some simple yet lovely furniture and some little decor accents placed perfectly in cozy spots that makes you go Awwww! Many sweet surprises in this house, and both in its indoors and outdoors the laid back feel, cozy atmosphere, and calm ambiance is all around.

I was so busy this week, and looking at this gorgeously laid back and serene abode made me feel a lot better. It has such a calming effect on me, yes... even if these are just in the form of images.

A Dream House in a Box

I don't usually favor box type homes because most of them are too modern for my taste and some have interiors that are quite masculine for my taste. I love homes that are inviting, fresh, serene, and cozy. And if it is located in a very nice surrounding, somewhere with a great view and spacious relaxing outdoors then it is my dream house. This lovely home in Spain has all the qualities I dream of in an ideal home and surprisingly it is a box type house. It is a dream house in a box. It is a haven where one can relax and its outdoor spaces are very pleasing to the eyes. You can almost feel the soft winds on your face.

What factors and features would you like your dream home to have? Would it be box type, Mediterranean, high rise or Victorian?
