I am so crushing on this lovely and inviting house from Light Locations, a photographic location agency providing beautiful, inspiring lifestyle locations to the film/TV and photographic industry. I've always love houses used in movies and this one is my kind of house, inviting and fresh-looking with charming floorboards and with a very beautiful outdoor area. And the bedroom looks so relaxing, a real nice haven to get some rest and quiet time...

It is the first month of the year again... and if you are like me, you are trying your best to start the year right, getting organized and trying to get rid of the clutter and disorder around the house. A popular way of organizing things is to make use of shelves...yup! the flat usually rectangular piece of glass, wood, metal or any other material you would want to use that can be attached to a vertical surface preferably a wall . Shelves make our things look cool, beautiful, and yes tidy. We usually put things on a shelf for easy access like our books and spices, but shelves can also be used to highlight out artworks, collections, and other trinkets dear to our hearts... A Cozy Little Cottage

Oh I heart this cozy little cottage in Norway. I'd love to have a place like this of my own, somewhere to hibernate just like the animals, to get away to when I need to relax and recharge or just be with myself or just be with my family for awhile not caring about any deadlines and the like. For now, I'd just have to be content just looking at this images and maybe after a little cup of hot choco I'd be ready to face the new challenges ahead of me today...

An invitingly cozy Residence

This is my first post for the year, I thought I'd share something inviting, airy, cozy, white but not lacking in color, relaxing, and filled with surprising decorative elements here and there. And it is not only the interiors that are beautiful in this house, even the outdoor spaces are lovely as well as very interesting. This is a house in Laurel Canyon, California done by ASHE + LEANDRO, an architecture and interior design firm located in New York City.
