It is again the last quarter of the year and the busiest part of the year for Moms and homemakers. During this season we have the most number of family celebrations and in-house get togethers. And once again our kitchen will become one if not the most activity-filled room in our house. I love it when family members or guests gather in the kitchen making chit-chats and catching up with everyone's whereabouts while I'm preparing food that we will later partake with gusto. And somebody who helps me in the kitchen is always welcome. So here, before the kitchen-busy days arrive, here are some awesome kitchen designs to inspire you and me to make our kitchens ready for the upcoming cookfest season.

Hi Ann,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit. There are so many bloggers out there. I tend toward the mixed media kind, but I must say, it is so refreshing to look at something else for a change. I am also a designer. My husband and I own an electronics store in Ardmore and Montgomeryville called World Wide Stereo and I do the design work. I also taught art in Philly for ten years.
Thanks again for your kind words and taking the time to stop by.

ReplyDeleteOh, these kitchens! Couldn't be more timely. We are working on our new house in N.C. and the kitchen is giving me the biggest problems of all.... That first kitchen, with the lower "table" extension of the island: what a great idea! I'm going to take my time and go over all of these: many thanks!
Thank you for posting! I love kitchens, especially the ones that are designed beautifully and tastefully. I think it's the most important part of the house, probably the room that most women spend the most of their time, so it needs to be open, inviting and cozy in order to include the entire family. Thanks for posting! This is great!
ReplyDeleteOhhh, I LOVE the red and white kitchens! What a fun post.

I needed to see pictures of kitchens now. Deciding whether to take my expresso kitchen table and get it fabric wrapped and completely change the color. Great post for inspiration and ideas.
