Feeling Beachy

There are moments when you just want to have a quiet and relaxing vacation somewhere idyllic and laidback (preferably on an island hideaway but a quiet uncrowded beach would do too) but just can’t because of some job or responsibilities you have to face and focus on at the moment. And this day is one of those for me … I’d love to go somewhere but can’t for the moment, and when I feel this way I always opt to do the next best thing … browse some beachy images. Photos and images that depict relaxation, calmness, sun, and water never fails to lift up my mood and make me smile inside. Beachy images makes me feel the rush of the waves on my legs, the sensation on my feet which I get from walking in the sand, and the breeze of fresh air on my face. Ahhh…it is good to feel beachy once in a while.

I have never in my life been to a place like this. I imagine it's sheer heaven! I can't almost smell the ocean breeze in these pictures!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a terrific week!

How wonderfully tropical!!!! Yes, my daughter-in-law was moving as she snapped the photo ... I think the fact that it is a really good camera helped. My son most likely slowed down a tad too ........ enjoy your week and thank you for the visit.

Oh, I'd love to go somewhere warm right now, where waters are deep blue..., it's not summer here in the North East, that's for sure.

What is it about the beach that calms me instantly? I love this post, my favourite is the shot from Coastal Living with the blue / white striped chair.
