Impeccable Hand-crafted furniture from Indigenous Materials by Budji

One of the most revered and admired Filipino Interior Designer and Furniture Designer is Antonio “Budji” Layug. The name “Budji” is synonymous to elegant, stylish, and comfortable furniture. He studied Architecture in University of Santo Tomas in Manila and Interior Design at the New York School of Interior Design. He has received numerous awards for his furniture collections worldwide. He is known to use indigenous organic materials like bamboo, pandan, and other Philippine hardwoods. From these humble materials, he is known to create products that are unique yet elegant, comfortable yet sturdy and as an interior designer his use of his creations combined with other fixtures, art works and accessories are just impeccably perfect and beautiful. His furniture collection is a product of detailed craftsmanship, aesthetic designs and style. According to his website, “Budji designs epitomize his personal philosophy of maintaining a balance between grace, elegance, simplicity,and nurturing their environment.”
